Safety and Security
Forest Park Elementary is a safe and secure environment. Students and parents access the school from the secure front door by pressing a button that calls the office personnel who monitor the front door. Little Rock School District monitors the school building and playground areas through the use of cameras. A mobile security officer checks the building twice each day. Students are supervised at all times in the classroom, lunch and playground by faculty and staff. All visitors must sign in at the office. Visitors are allowed to eat lunch with students and attend all special programs or activities. Classroom interruptions are discouraged unless it is an emergency.
At Forest Park Elementary School, we take pride in the appearance of our students! Research has shown that school uniforms have a positive impact on student performance and conduct. Their attitude toward academic achievement is directly enhanced.
